16 May 2023 Megan Nobbs The Seasons Performance Hall - History and Looking forward May 16, 2023 4:30 PM The Seasons is a repurposed Christian Science Church which was built starting in 1917. It is one of the most spectacular historical churches in Yakima. It is currently under consideration for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places and we are discovering rich troves of history as we submit documents for review. The Seasons Music Festival is a community non-profit organization founded in Yakima and designated tax-exempt in 2005. Its initial purpose was to present musical performances in The Seasons Performance Hall, and showcase the beautiful historical hall with impeccable acoustics. In 2009, the non-profit received a donation of the Performance Hall itself from the Strosahl Family, a local philanthrope with ties to the arts and music community. Thereafter, the mission of The Seasons Music Festival was expanded to include owning and managing The Seasons Performance Hall.

13 Jun 2023 Chris Granberry & Chuck Clevenger Mentoring of Native Youth and Natives in Transitional Housing Jun 13, 2023 Chris Granberry Chris, the founder of Sacred Road, was ordained by the Pacific Northwest Presbytery in June 2008. With a background in teaching, coaching, and Youth Ministry, Chris now serves as Team Leader as well as Pastor for the Hope Fellowship church plant. Chuck Clevenger Having a background in graphic design, Chuck was surprised when his role with Sacred Road turned to that of Youth Ministry Director. The small gathering of teenagers in 2009 has developed into a full blown Youth Ministry, reaching over 200 youth around our reservation.
20 Jun 2023 County Commissioner Amanda McKinney Yakima County Update Jun 20, 2023 4:30 PM Tuesday we are fortunate to have Amanda McKinney with us. Amanda serves as a Yakima County Commissioner. She will give us an update on our county. Yakima County has a population was 256,728. The county seat and largest city is Yakima. The county was formed out of Ferguson County in January 1865 and is named for the Yakama tribe of Native Americans. The county has a total area of 4,311 square miles, of which 4,295 square miles is land and 16 square miles is water. Yakima County is the second-largest county in Washington by land area and third-largest by total area.
