Two new members join the AWESOMEST Club! They are Elliot Ries and Mike Goettl. Glad to have these fine new additions to our membership. Welcome Elliot and Mike!

SW Rotarians gathered at the home of Caroline & Craig Sundquist to enjoy time together (and fresh squeezed apple juice courtesy of George Allan!) in early September. A good time was had by all!

Congratulations to Corday Trick AND Lynn Gilmore for receiving Paul Harris awards at this week's Rotary meeting. Corday earned a Paul Harris +2 for his many years of contributions to Rotary International. Lynn earned her first Paul Harris for years of hosting youth exchange students, and for her many community service efforts. Congratulations to both!

SW Rotarians joined other Rotarians in supporting the Rotary Trust Golf Tournament Friday July 23rd at the Yakima Country Club. A beautiful, hot day included lots of bogies and laughs by all. Tressa Mercy ran the event and all went well. Thanks, Tressa!

A group of SW Rotarians gathered on Saturday July 17th to remember our collegue Dick Johnson, who died unexpected of Covid-19 related issues in March. Dick was a big-time Cougar fan, and thus he was remembered at the Cowiche Creek Brewery. A toast was raised in his name to honor our missing friend.

SW Rotary has a new President for our 2021-2022 Rotary year. He is Taylor Stormo of Cashmere Valley Bank. He took over Tuesday June 29th from past President Martin Streich. The Club reviewed Martin's many accomplishments during his term as our President. And we are excited for our new leader Taylor. The year ahead looks very promising...

After 14 months of ZOOM meetings due to the pandemic SW Rotarians gathered again in person at Apple Tree Golf Course to host our first meeting amongst friends and guests. An excited crowd of Rotarians enjoyed the sun and fellowship after a long absence apart. A good time was had by all!

Despite the pandemic SW Rotary has been fortunate in attracting some very qualified new members to our Club recently. Welcome Josh Munson, Susan Duffin, Chas Holmes, Kim & Bryan Eglet and Jennifer Hawks-Conright. Great to have you in our Club!
