Another night of fun and Friendsgiving at the Valley Mall prior to Thanksgiving. A great turnout and fun times celebrated our time together as Rotarians doing good work! Thanks Social Committee for setting this up!

RI Chairman Ryan Beckett introduces nine new Paul Harris awards to Club members. In many cases these are Paul Harris multiple awards too. Bruce Willis earned his PH+4 award to top the group! Our support of the Rotary Foundation is a priority to our Club! And here is the proof! Way to go Rotarians!

What a fun night crushing grapes at Craig & Vicki Dwights house on a beautiful fall day in October. Lots of wine and wet feet as SW Rotarians stomped and laughed during this fall ritual. Fun night!

Congratulations Past President Dirk Bernd! He led the effort to light up city skate parks across Yakima. Partnering with the City and Yakima's two other Rotary Clubs! He thanked all those who helped with this amazing contribution to our town! Well done!

Archie M. Klumph (and 5060 DG Marjolein Lloyd) stopped by SW Rotary Tuesday August 8th to review the goings on throughout the District and Rotary in general. She invited all Rotarians to attend next years District Conference in Penticton.

President Dirk handed over a bottle of wine to incoming President Lynn Harlington Tuesday June 27th at the Seasons. President Dirk had a VERY good
year as Club President, breaking membership records and hosting our annual auction with record breaking results. Now he passes the torch to Lynn, our sixth female President. We are excited at the prospect of the many great things ahead for SW Rotary!

President-Elect Lynn Harlington (and husband Joe) just returned from the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne, Australia this week. Also in attendance were the two other President-Elects from the other two local Clubs...Erin Black with Downtown and Pam Cleaver with Sunrise. The convention was a great success and much enjoyed by all!

President Dirk Bernd presents a check for $25,000 to the Memorial Foundation in support of CHAMPS Campaign, an investment in kids who receive specialized care thru the Children's Village. We are proud to support such a worthy program in our community!

Old Hollywood Glam was out in style Friday April 28th as SW Rotarians and others gathered in support of our annual Auction. A great turnout and successful fund raiser exceeded expectations. And a good night of fun and fundraising resulted. We are most grateful to those who came out to support the Club and our community. And a shout our to our Auction Committee for another amazing event!

On August 2nd Downtown Yakima broke ground for the new Rotary Marketplace that will be the new home of the Yakima Farmers Market. SW Rotary donated $150K in support of this great local project. Past Presidents Taylor Stormo and Josh Logsdon played key roles in funding this generous donation. Yakima will be a better place with this new impressive addition.
