Happy Saturday Morning everyone. I am looking forward to seeing all of you this coming Tuesday (Feb. 19th) for our regularly scheduled meeting at Zesta.  Fingers crossed that snow doesn't get in the way!  You have all likely seen the emails from Ways and Means about bringing your wine, and auction items to this coming meeting. If you have questions, please contact Martin Streich. Please enjoy your weekend and have a safe Presidents Day.

SW Rotary welcomes new members Tom Trepanier (Windermere Realty) and Danielle Vincent (Allan Bros.) to our Club. Our membership is now over eighty and growing. Very exciting stuff!
The Downtown, Sunrise and Southwest clubs jointly celebrated Mollie Davis with a Golf and Dinner fundraiser.  The day was warm, the golf scores were low and many dollars were raised to support our annual Mollie Davis Scholarship.

We are super excited to welcome Mike Brophy from Yakima Downtown Rotary Club and also Dave Lemon from Quincy Rotary Club!   Wonderful additions!
  • Thank you to District Governor Sherry Chamberlain for her inspirational presentation about Rotary Home.
  • Congrats to Taylor Stormo and Tom Sparling on being awarded the George Martin and Bob Knudsen awards!
  • With a heavy heart we say goodbye to longtime member, past president and friend Rick Smith.  Rick and his wife are moving out of town.  Please reach out to them
There are 34 very fortunate students that were awarded over $850 thousand dollars for the Mollie Monroe Davis Scholarships this year.  The luncheon at the Yakima Convention Center was truly touching and we all heard amazing stories!   Congratulations to these students who are college bound!   Good Luck!
